Project Goals

From day one, we worked very closely with the Stewart's Caring Place team to learn about their organization, their mission, and the people they aim to serve. The first step in our marketing efforts began with a new logo design—one that lends a warm, inviting touch to a center providing care and support surrounding such a devastating disease. The butterfly pays tribute to the Butterfly Garden at Stewart's Caring Place—a focal point of the wellness center. The dotted circle surrounding the butterfly is meant to speak to the more than 200 forms of cancer in existence. The numerous dots represent the numerous types, but instead of enclosing the butterfly, the dots fade, giving the butterfly an escape – emphasizing the possibility that the disease and the emotions surrounding it can be overcome.

Once the new logo was finalized, we redesigned the entire website, creating a user-friendly, responsive website that focuses on its users. We knew we had to effectively tell the story of Stewart's Caring Place, so we focused not only on the written story, but on photos and videos of real people—those who work for Stewart's and those who have been impacted by its services. These videos show the faces behind the stories, testimonials, and donations, and truly represent what Stewart's Caring Place is all about.

Overall, this website tells a story about people who needed help or care in one form or another, and were able to find it at Stewart's Caring Place. Of course we encourage people to participate in events and donate as they travel throughout the site, but the way to secure the most meaningful donations is to tell the story of the people they'll be helping.
