Online Marketing Strategist – Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY

Evolve Creative Group, a leading online marketing/Web design agency located in Akron, Ohio, is growing quickly, and in need of an experienced Online Marketing Strategist. Evolve is a tight-knit company that offers a great work environment, a diverse range of clients and a well-managed workload that promotes strong partner relationships. When we're not working hard on the latest project, we're brushing up on our foosball and cornhole skills.

A successful Online Marketing Strategist has four-to-six years of professional online marketing experience with implementing SEO and pay-per-click marketing campaigns.

The ideal Online Marketing Strategist is responsible for:

Pay-Per-Click
  • Account setup: Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Facebook, Adroll and more
  • Keyword research, ad copy creation and A/B testing
  • Paid Search landing page analysis and recommendations for optimal conversion rate
  • Daily campaign management for ad accounts: Bid management, keyword addition/deletion, budget monitoring
  • Create short and long term PPC strategies for partners to help increase conversions
  • Create weekly and/or monthly reporting for partner accounts: Tracking, analyzing and reporting in ad platform(s) and Google Analytics
  • Comfortable working directly with partners on an ongoing basis, providing them with updates on account strategy and performance
Search Engine Optimization, Analytics and Strategy
  • Keyword research
  • On-page activities: Optimization of meta content, content body, headers, images, etc.
  • Off-page activities: Link building, local search
  • Management of Evolve and partner blogs (writing, managing writers, distributing content)
  • Website review/analysis of targeted landing pages and recommendations for optimal conversion rate
  • Perform website audit: Technical website reviews and troubleshooting
  • Create weekly and/or monthly reporting for partner accounts: Tracking, analyzing and reporting Google Analytics
  • Ability to analyze project status and provide recommendations with little to no guidance
  • Proactive in making recommendations for partners and Evolve
  • Assist the marketing team in creating strategy for partners and Evolve
  • Create short and long term SEO strategies for partners to help increase conversions
  • Comfortable working directly with partners on an ongoing basis, providing them with updates on account strategy and performance
Desired Experience and Skills
  • 4-6 years of professional SEO/SEM experience
  • College degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications preferred
  • Google Adwords certification a PLUS
  • Google Analytics certification a PLUS
  • Strong understanding of SEO and PPC principals and optimization variables
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and working within a content management system
  • Awesome writing skills
  • Solid math and Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of landing page best practices
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, content management systems
  • Solid knowledge of keyword research tools and best practices
  • Fast learner: Self-motivated and able to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Positive attitude and great sense of humor
